We have several unusual ideas on how we can make the Web can work for you. We are also open to discussing commission plans from Web pages. This applies only to unique items, we will not open yet another web shopping mall.

The Arts

Currently we are hoping to locate artists that produce unique products and wish to advertise and sell on the Web, but have not been able to due to the cost of commercial pages, time constraints or lack of access. We are particularly interested in folk arts, crafts, and traditional-style artwork from various countries. Antiques are also considered, depending on the export policies of the country involved.

We are very interested in writers, especially those who write about traveling, or living away from home. Either fiction or nonfiction is fine. If the piece is good enough, we will try to work some payment out with you, or at least put up links to you - we will take samples, and things you may not be able to sell elsewhere - if the writing is good. We aren't promising we'll put your writing online. But if it is well-written, up it goes. Languages other than English are welcome, but we probably won't be able to correct typos, so make sure you proofread carefully (we can read in several languages and have friends that read even more, so don't think you will get away with poor writing, it's just that we aren't very good at your spelling and grammar). We are in the process of investigating a sell-it-online method as well, that will also depend on getting a reliable 'small cost' payment system going, as most people don't like to use credit cards for just a few dollars. If we do work this out, we will be interested in a much broader range of subjects, so bookmark here and check back once in a while! Photographers also considered.

We will also link to interesting sites - and we are happy to look if you send us your home page URL. Please note that our opinions are subjective, and we may refuse to link you for any reason we deem appropriate. Since this is free, our "whether or not we agree", as stated in our policy, does not apply. Don't bother to send URLs for adult sites - we can't link to those. We are mostly interested in individual sites with travel or 'living abroad' stories, hints, warnings, and so forth. If your tales are good ones, and you don't want to increase your hits, we may even offer you a free mirror site (see the above paragraph on writers).
